The New Rubinelle Army (NRA) (the New Laurentian Army in the European release) is a force in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

History

The NRA was created after the meteors struck, which broke apart the Rubinelle Army, with Davis being separated from the 12th Battalion. Brenner and the 12th Battalion began searching for survivors in need of aid, and The Beast and many other former soldiers turning into Feral Bandits. Sometime prior to when 12th Battalion and the bandits are fighting each other, the Rubinelle Army was reunited under the lead of Admiral Greyfield, with Davis and Waylon serving as commanders. During the events of Days of Ruin, the 12th Battalion joined the NRA after finding Davis and a small force under attack and helped fight the Lazurian forces, which led the NRA to victory. After Brenner defeated Forsythe, the former promised to protect Forsythe's remaining troops. However, Greyfield soon ordered Waylon to kill Forsythe, causing the 12th Battalion to free the prisoners and make a narrow escape. After several battles, the NRA was left in shambles; Davis and his forces presumably died at Salvation from The Creeper; Waylon's force was completely destroyed, yet the CO's status remains unknown; Greyfield was defeated and killed by Lin.
