Metroid Wiki is a wiki devoted to the Metroid series, and one of the first members to join the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance. From its origins at the Zelda Informer forums, it has since evolved into a substantial Metroid project. Created on January 27, 2010 by Nathanial Rumphol-Janc, it now includes more than 500 articles.
The wiki saw its public launch on February 9, 2010, and then joined the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance the following April, during a spurt of new additions. Metroid Wiki joined the alliance one week after WiKirby, and was followed a week later by Wars Wiki.
