Battle Maps is the mode where you can buy new maps, Commanding Officers and miscellaneous items. It is owned by Hachi in the first three instalments of the Advance Wars series.

- Eagle: Choose Sami for the missions Captain Drake!, Naval Clash!, and Battle Mystery!, then clear Campaign. Price: 80 coins.
- Kanbei: Clear Campaign. Price: 50 coins.
- Sonja: Clear Kanbei Arrives!, Mighty Kanbei! and Kanbei's Error? in 8, 10 and 12 days, then clear Campaign. Price: 60 coins.
- Sturm: Unlock every other CO except Nell then clear Campaign. Price: 100 coins.
