Air Ace! is the third mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the first mission where you encounter Eagle, as well as Green Earth.

Background
Moving the army to the Orange Star island to the south, Andy and the advisor suddenly run into hostile forces despite Nell telling them the area was empty. It is quickly noticed that they are no Blue Moon forces, causing Nell to look for intel. Returning after three days, she says it is a Green Earth independent battalion roaming about, warning Andy and the advisor for their air units. Andy says it is too late, after which Nell abandons you, leaving you to your own devices to win the battle.
After the battle, Eagle recognises Andy, accusing him of an unspoken act; he leaves with the warning that the next time they meet it will be the last. Andy is left behind, bewildered by what Eagle was on about, not knowing who he is.
The next mission is Max Strikes!; there is an Andy version of this mission as well as a Max version.
