The Advisor Rank is a feature in the first Advance Wars game that keeps track of how many medals you have earned. There are 96 ranks, starting with Grey Rat and ending at Gold Dragon.

Requirements

To get a rank the player needs to have completed mission 13 from Field Training, Fog of War, completing his or her promotion from candidate to advisor.

The Advisor Rank is made up of two components; a color or material and an animal. When advancing a rank, the player will first go from grey to gold, then to the next animal starting at grey again. You increase a rank by obtaining 20 coins.
